Are you really an Italian Restaurant, or an Italian American Restaurant?

All of the people behind the scenes and preparing your food are Italian. Some have been in the states for years, but everyone of the owners is Italian. Our dishes are all prepared under the direction of the the head chef with his integrity being plated with each meal we serve. Our wait-staff may not be Italian, but they are learning more about the language and cuisine every day.

What do the Italian Heading mean on your Menu?

A typical Italian meal for a special occasion comprises the following courses:

Antipasti. These are the hors d'oeuvres, the appetizers.

Primo piatto. This is the entrée. It is usually made up of a soup followed by a small plate of pasta.

Secondi Piatti. This is the main course. It can be either fish, meat or poultry.

Contorni. These are the vegetables.

Insalata. The main course is followed by a salad; we do serve the salad at beginning of the meal in the American Tradition unless you request it after the main course.

Formaggio e frutta fesca. Cheese and fresh fruits are served after the salad. We do not serve this course in our restaurant as our above portions are large.

Dolci. For those who are still hungry, a little dessert is in order.

Caffe. Typical Italian coffee, an espresso, followed by a liqueur or digestive.
